Kevin Huntley has been fascinated by insects since childhood and has spent decades studying insects.
His passion for these remarkable animals has inspired him to create engaging educational programs that connect the public with the world of insects. In 2013, he developed his first program for Wyndham in Sedona, Arizona, and later worked with California State Parks to create new insect education programs for the Northern Redwoods District beginning in summer 2024. Building on that success, he is now pursuing his dream as an independent insect educator. In this talk, he shares how his passion and knowledge about insects led him to take on a restoration project in his community to promote habitat for Silver Bees (Habropoda miserabilis).
